Job Description

Outfitters Stores Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Assistant Manager PF & Payroll. This role involves managing various tasks related to payroll processing and provident fund management. The successful candidate will maintain and ensure compliance with statutory regulations pertaining to Employee Provident Fund (EPF) while providing exceptional support to employees regarding their PF accounts. Although this position does not require team management, collaboration with HR and senior management is essential to ensure efficient payroll processing and appropriate handling of employee benefits.
Responsibilities
  • Manage accurate and up-to-date records of employee contributions, interest accruals, and withdrawals associated with the Provident Fund (PF).
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and Employee Provident Fund (EPF) guidelines, proactively monitoring for any statutory updates.
  • Process PF claims efficiently, including withdrawals, transfers, and final settlements, in close coordination with the HR department or internal PF trust.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding PF accounts, providing clear and informative guidance to enhance employee understanding.
  • Develop, prepare, and submit periodic reports to senior management and relevant statutory organizations to maintain transparency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during PF audits, facilitating smooth processes and addressing inquiries as they arise.
  • Assist in the formulation and continuous improvement of policies related to employee benefits and statutory compliance, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
  • Work in partnership with HR to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and address any discrepancies that may arise.
  • Facilitate the opening of employee bank accounts, ensuring proper alignment and tagging with designated company banks to streamline payroll delivery.
